The Surfer's Guide to Free Software

Mozilla Firefox:

In the last couple of years, Mozilla's "Firefox" has become one of the most popular web-browsers. Its highlights are: the pop-up blocker, "tabbed" browsing allowing to open multiple websites in a single window and the fact that it is highly customizable: By installing some of the extensions available the user can add almost any functionality he wishes. Furthermore, firefox's appearance can be easily changed by installing additional themes .

Mozilla Firefox can be downloaded from www.mozilla.com.

Those of you who prefer to have web browser, E-mail, etc. combined into a single application, might be interested in Seamonkey (formerly known as the "Mozilla Application Suite") which may be downloaded from www.seamonkey-project.org/.
