Eclipse:

Bluefish is a powerful editor for web designers and programmers working in Linux or Mac OS X. It supports many programming and markup languages, but it focuses on editing dynamic and interactive websites.

KompoZer:

KompoZer is a complete WYSIWYG (what-you-see-is-what-you-get) web authoring system for Linux, Windows and Macintosh. No technical expertise or knowledge of HTML is necessary to create web pages.

LaTeX

LaTeX is a high-quality typesetting system used for creating most scientific documents worldwide. In order to start using LaTeX you will need to install one of the LaTeX distributions available, as well as a text editor of your choice (the ones presented on this page are especially useful for editing LaTeX).
